Assalamu alaykum

Find the one. Keep it halal.

The Muslim marriage app that gets to know you properly, then introduces you to people who fit. Built with mosques, with room for your family.

Your first introduction is free. Align is on Google Play. The iPhone app is on its way, and until then Align works in your browser.

A verified brother’s profile in the Align app, shown with an example member: he has said yes, and she can accept or pass.
Where you align, on a profile in the Align app: in short, how the two of them fit, then a web of how their answers fit area by area, closest in faith and plans and furthest apart in daily life.

The matching engine

Personality over pictures

Spend about twenty minutes on questions about real life: money, family, faith, and what you really do when you’re upset. We turn your answers into your persona, then introduce you to people who fit and show you why.

See their six sides drawn over your own.

Everyday life counts most

Money, family, how you run a home and how you like your days carry the most weight.

Photos come later

Your photo stays private until you’re introduced.

Six sides of him, on a profile in the Align app: his persona, the Driven Protector, and his personality drawn as a pink shape with hers as a dashed blue line over it, then a bar for each of them on every side.

«فَاظْفَرْ بِذَاتِ الدِّينِ تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكَ»

"So choose the one with deen, and may you prosper."

The Prophet ﷺ, narrated by Abu Hurayrah, Bukhari and Muslim

Deen and character before looks. That’s the advice we built Align around.

Inside the app

From the first day to the nikah

Here’s how it goes, one screen at a time.

Swipe through

  1. 1

    Answer real questions

There are no right answers. Just be honest.

A question from the Align assessment: you both get home after a long day at work, so who makes dinner? Four answers, one chosen.
  2. 2

    Know yourself first

Then you’ll know who you’re looking for.

Her persona in the Align app: what shapes her, in words, and six sides of her, each a place between two ends rather than a score.
  3. 3

    Five people. Zero swiping.

Picked for who you are, not what you look like.

The Your Matches screen in the Align app, shown with example members: all five of the day’s introductions, two of them waiting on her answer, the first of them verified by a mosque.
  4. 4

    See who they really are

Their deen, their character, in their own words.

A new introduction’s profile in the Align app, shown with an example member: a brother verified by a mosque, his deen and his work, and the choice to accept or pass.
  5. 5

    Talk to one person

    Your full attention. Theirs too.

A conversation in the Align app between two example members who have been introduced.
  6. 6

    Verified by a mosque

A mosque representative meets them face to face.

A brother’s verification report in the Align app: verified by Dar Ul-Isra, under its own logo, the traits it found, and his answer to each interview question.
  7. 7

    Her wali, beside her

Her father can be as involved as she wants.

The wali portal in the Align app: her father’s view of the verified brother she is talking to, shown with an example member.
  8. 8

    From salaam to nikah

When you both say yes, book it at a mosque.

An Align conversation once both of them have said yes: the card to book the nikah at a community centre.

Built for marriage

What you can’t do on Align

These aren’t rules to remember. The app simply won’t let them happen.

No browsing

No gallery of faces to scroll.

No juggling

One conversation at a time.

No photos in chat

Not at any point.

No video calls

Voice calls only, inside Align.

No phone numbers

Numbers and links get blocked.

No messages from strangers

Chat opens only when you both say yes.

What we do differently

Checked face to face, by a mosque

The badge means a mosque representative has met them face to face. Anyone can get one, and we ask every brother to.

Book a time

With a registered mosque or centre.

Meet face to face

At the mosque, or on a video call.

A brother shares his report

With one introduction at a time.

Any fee goes to the mosque, never to us.

Not everyone is verified yet, so look for the badge.

You’re in control

Your wali, on your terms

«إِذَا خَطَبَ إِلَيْكُمْ مَنْ تَرْضَوْنَ دِينَهُ وَخُلُقَهُ فَزَوِّجُوهُ»

"If one whose deen and character please you proposes, then marry him."

The Prophet ﷺ, narrated by Abu Hurayrah, Tirmidhi

Your father, or the guardian in his place, can be part of it from day one. You choose how involved he is.

Kept informed

Told at every step.

Involved

Can message the brother.

Closely involved

Call requests reach him first.

Or let him read your conversations once a week. Only new messages, and the brother is told.

He never sees your photo or other matches.

Her wali settings in the Align app: how involved he is, from kept informed to closely involved, and the weekly transcript she can switch on.

﴿رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ﴾

"Our Lord, grant us from our spouses and offspring the comfort of our eyes."

Qur’an 25:74

We built Align with imams, but it’s an app, not a scholar. Pray istikharah before you begin, and may Allah make it easy for you.
