Her wali is her father, or the guardian who stands in his place. This page is the honest answer to the question he is actually asking.
«إِذَا خَطَبَ إِلَيْكُمْ مَنْ تَرْضَوْنَ دِينَهُ وَخُلُقَهُ فَزَوِّجُوهُ»
"If one whose deen and character please you proposes, then marry him."
The Prophet ﷺ, Tirmidhi
The nikah is his to give and nothing here pretends otherwise. Align just brings him in at the start, with the deen and the character in plain view, instead of at the end.
Three levels
Kept informed
He is told when a conversation starts and ends. He can ask the brother to arrange a verification meeting.
Involved
Told about conversations and calls. He can see the compatibility reading and propose a meeting.
Closely involved
All of the above, and call requests reach him before they reach her.
Each level is a shortcut for six switches she owns. Move any one and the arrangement is her own. Turn her wali off and every part of it goes quiet at once.
What he never sees
- Her messages, with anyone, ever.
- Anyone's photos, including hers.
- Her other matches, or anyone she has not started a conversation with.
These are not defaults. There is no setting in Align that turns any of them on.
The boundaries are in the code
Lowering the gaze
No gallery to browse. A few compatible people at a time, and photos private until you are introduced.
Protected from khalwa
Messages and calls stay inside Align, with no number exchange: "let none of you be alone with a woman, for Shaytan is the third of them" (Tirmidhi).
For nikah, nothing else
No casual tier and no browsing tier. Misusing the platform ends the account.
